| Activities | The Recycle Snowman Contest is offered to families, school classes, or clubs to construct snowmen out of recyclable products. The Recycle Snowman contest is a fun way for parents, teachers and local club leaders to educate local children on the benefits of recycling. There is a $5 per entry fee per snowman due by January 5, 2010. | From Houston take 288 South to Beltway 8. Take the beltway east to Pearland Parkway. Take the Pearland Parkway exit South. Pass FM 518. Go through one stop sign, U-turn and turn right into Independence Park. From I-45 South, take the Dixie Farm Road exit. Turn right onto 518. Continue on 518 until you reach Pearland Parkway. Turn left at the Pearland Parkway / 518 intersection. Go through one stop sign, u-turn and turn right into Independence Park From the Beltway, take Pearland Parkway exit South. Turn Left at the 518 / Pearland Parkway intersection. Turn Right at Liberty Drive. Pass FM 518. Go through one stop sign, U-turn and turn right into Independence Park. | ||
