| Description: | Location: Blue Ridge Community Center Additional Information : The Tradition Returns For several years, new friends and old friends have been joining me for a nice bike ride in the country - with some black-eyed peas and cornbread for dessert. This year we are bringing back our same traditional riding and eating experience, with a bit of a twist or two. Just what kind of ride is this? We should make it clear that this is not a big time bike rally with a full blown production behind it. This is a simple ride, more like a glorified club ride. We have nice routes with break points that are stocked with fluids and snacks. We have a few friendly volunteers to help take care of you on the road, and some even nicer ones who have cooked black-eyed peas and cornbread for you to enjoy after the ride. My Mom will even be there to make you feel at home. So come on out and join us for a pleasant ride to give the new year a healthy start. | |||
