| Description: | Spring 2012 Pecan Street Festival! Were celebrating 34 years of community in downtown Austin. Everyone is welcome! Saturday, MAY 5: 11am - 10pm Sunday, MAY 6: 11am - 8pm A FREE, family event, the Pecan Street Festival is an Austin Tradition. Its the oldest and largest art festival in Central Texas, attracting over 300,000 people per event and generating $43 million in economic impact. Local musicians provide entertainment on three stages, beginning at noon and continuing into the late evening hours, and proceeds benefit local non-profit organizations. | ||
