The East Texas Yamboree is one of the longest running festivals in Texas with well over one hundred thousand people attending every year. Daily activities and nightly entertainment keep people coming year after year. Carnival, attractions, Queen's Coronation Pageant with all its beautiful and talented young ladies, Livestock Show and Sale of animals raised by the area youth, Barn Dance, Parades, Gospel Singing, exhibits, golf scramble, art and photography shows, quilt show, canning demos, fiddler's contest, yam related food and food vendors, high school football, and family fun.
