This Hot Air Balloon event is a three day event, Friday 5pm through Sunday 10am every third weekend in August. It is located in Highland Village, Texas at Unity Park on Briarhill Boulevard. It is a charity event run by the Highland Village Lions Club with help from the Lewisville Lions Club and The City of Highland Village. Balloon action starts just before sunrise and sunset around 6:30am and 7pm during the festival. The early morning is prime time for Hot Air Balloons because the air is cool and calm. And we have pancakes cooking that will make the morning even better! So bring your lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy breakfast while watching the Hot Air Balloons do their thing. Activities last all day! Live music, carnival rides, arts & craft exhibits, car bash, food, beer and wine. Raffle drawing for prizes including a Hot Air Balloon Ride! Local businesses and sponsors have information booths and exhibits.
