| Description: | The La Salle County Wild Hog Cook-Off and Fair was first held in March of 1972 as a community project by the Cotulla chapter of the Young Homemakers of Texas. Now held annually the second weekend of March, the Wild Hog Cook-Off has grown into a weekend-long event packed full of good-humored family fun, contests, rodeos, and, of course, barbeque.
