The 21st annual Deep Ellum Arts Festival is the signature event of this popular arts-and-entertainment district which is referred to as the SoHo of Dallas. This free to attend visual and performing arts festival consistently draws over 100,000 visual and performing arts enthusiasts who come to experience original music and purchase cutting-edge art each spring. Public surveys proclaimed this festival as the Best and Most Fun Arts Festival in Dallas.

The light-rail system has re-energized the entire district and made Deep Ellum the entertainment hub of the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. The continuing expansion of residential housing in the Deep Ellum neighborhood has created a significant increase in local art buyers as well.

This established annual Festival is always held over the first full weekend in April.
Every so often our established weekend dates coincide with Easter Sunday, as it does for the 2015 Festival. Whenever this happens we tend to have a banner weekend and also present a popular community non-denominational spiritual service from our Main Street Stage Sunday morning.
