| Description: | The Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau announces plans are underway for an inaugural event, Pearland Art & Crafts on the Pavilion, to take place on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Pearland Town Center event pavilion. Presented by The Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau in conjunction with the Pearland Town Center the event is designed to attract visitors to Pearland. Visitors will find a showcase of works by artists and craftsman offering unique, handmade items for purchase. Live music and an additional local performance will be scheduled each day. A call for artists has been issued for initial registrations. "We are very excited about this opportunity to present art and handmade crafts in this setting," according to Kim Sinistore, Executive Director, Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau. "The initial interest has been very positive and we're pleased to collaborate with local talent to spotlight Pearland as "A Perfect Pick" to play."
