| Description: | Our annual fundraiser, Holiday Marketplace, will be held at the Humble Civic Center on Monday, October 27, 2014 and Tuesday, October 28, 2014. The Civic Center is located at 8233 Will Clayton Parkway, Humble, Texas between S. Houston Ave. and Wilson Road, one mile east of US Highway 59. Vendors from all over the Gulf Coast will offer a wide variety of merchandise including jewelry, food, womens and childrens clothing and accessories, holiday decorations, gift items and much more. Be sure to check out the amazing raffle items available both days of Marketplace. All proceeds from Holiday Marketplace are donated to local charities. The Eighteenth Annual Holiday Marketplace will kick off with a Preview Party at the Humble Civic Center on Monday evening Monday, October 27, 2014 from 6 to 9 pm. Guests will enjoy wine and refreshments while getting the first look at our shopping extravaganza. The highlight of the evening will be a fabulous Silent Auction. Tickets for this event are available in advance only for $25 per person which will include free General Admission on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Proceeds from Preview Party ticket sales benefit Project Mammogram. On Tuesday, October 28, 2014, we will have a full day of shopping from 9 am to 5 pm. A delicious luncheon catered by Carrabbas will be served to give busy shoppers a nice break. In addition, our Snack Shop will have sandwiches and snacks available for purchase. A limited number of $25 luncheon tickets are available which includes admission to the show. General Admission tickets for $8 are available in advance or may be purchased at the door for $10. Tickets to all events can be purchased from any Kingwood Womens Club member or by visiting one of our retail partners at Sterling Events/Alspaugh Ace Hardware at 2720 W. Lake Houston Parkway or Dragonfly Boutique at 19250 West Lake Houston Parkway, Suite J (cash & checks made payable to KWC only).
