Co-sponsored by the Elgin Main Street Board, Elgin Chamber of Commerce and the Parks and Community Development Department. Holiday by the Tracks includes a day of shopping at the local downtown businesses, arts and crafts and musical performances in Veterans' Memorial Park. Also included are the Christmas Craft Fair at the Elgin Public Library from 9 - 3 pm and the VFD Lighted Christmas Parade at dusk followed by a live nativity.
