| Description: | UNITY PARK, Highland Village, TX is the place to be on August 14-16, 2015. Enjoy the beauty of hot air balloons floating serenely over the park along with many crowd-pleasing activities. Unity Park is conveniently located at 2200 Briarhill Blvd (corner of FM 407 and Briarhill), just 2 ½ miles west of I 35 East. Unity Park is very family friendly with Kid's Castle Playground located on site. Balloon ascensions, glows, races, and tethered balloon rides on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Other special events on Saturday, 5K & 1K fun run, Classic Car Show of 100+ cars & FREE vision screening for adults and children. Sunday morn features Wiener Dog Races. (See website for times & details of all). Kid zone, activities for all ages, food vendors, arts and crafts booths, live entertainment, music and MORE. Admission free, $5 donation for parking is requested. | ||
