Historic Castrovilles 31st Annual Old Fashion Christmas will be held on the first Friday and Saturday of December. There is no entrance fee for the event, which is sponsored by the Castroville Area Chamber of Commerce. Friday night will feature vendors located on Houston Square. There will be music from the Children's Choir and Santa will make a visit. More music and entertainment that evening.

Saturday will boast over 250 vendors providing a wide variety of gifts, arts and crafts and commercial items as well as an abundance of food and drink to satisfy everyones appetites. Guests are able to sample everything from traditionally American to Mexican to Alsatian fares.

Entertainment throughout the day features music groups, gymnastics, local choirs, Scottish Bagpipes and Drums, and much more. Santa will also pay his annual visit at 1:00 p.m. Children will have the opportunity to talk to Santa and have their pictures taken with him in front of the large Christmas tree, bring your cameras!
