The "hottest" place to be in Central Texas is Copperas Cove! The first weekend in December we host the Downtown Christmas Bazaar, known as "Krist Kindl Markt." Krist Kindl Markt was established in 1995. Krist Kindl Markt is a popular event that features vendors with Christmas crafts, collectables, holiday gift ideas, and yummy food. The Markt welcomes shoppers looking for those last minute Christmas gifts and boasts great food and entertainment for all to enjoy. The Markt begins Friday evening and runs until Sunday afternoon. Also on Saturday, Ave. D is lined with spectators watching the Christmas Parade that gets everyone in a festive mood.
