Description:

From Taste of Irving Website:

A Celebration of Food and Family Fun.

The Taste of Irving is a free, outdoor festival featuring family-friendly activities and food from a variety of Irving restaurants. Attendees enjoy live music, a free fun zone, a large craft marketplace, and culinary entertainment. The highlight of the event are the food samples; each restaurant sells items from their menu for $5 or less!

Thousands of people attended the 2015 celebration, which featured food from over 20 restaurants and food trucks. BBQ, Indian, Japanese, Cajun, American, Latin and many other genres of food were represented, as well as ice cream, snow cones, cupcakes and a range of delicious desserts. Over 50 crafter booths offered jewelry, dcor, clothing, toys, services and valuable information. Great music was featured on the Valley Ranch Association Main Stage by Northern National, The Texas Gypsies and Brave Combo. Local restaurant Wing Town sponsored the Fiery Heat Challenge, a hot wing eating contest with amazing prizes such as gift cards and a 40" HDTV, while local restaurant Jinbeh offered culinary demonstrations with Chef Michael Cane.

Check back in early 2016 for details about next year's event, including how to get involved as a food or craft vendor.
