We want you to be a part of the 20th Annual Chicken and Bread Days Heritage Festival. This fun-filled family event, produced by Main Street Bowie, celebrates the colorful history of Bowie, Texas. The festival gets its name from Amon G. Carter and his boyhood friends who sold chicken and biscuits at Bowies train depots in the early 1900s.

All of the festival activities take place within a three-block area in historic downtown Bowie
