The Lone Star State Dulcimer Festival, AKA "Glen Rose", because it is held every year in Glen Rose, Texas at Oakdale Park, will be held on May 6-8 this year.

This year's Lone Star State Dulcimer Festival features Princess Harris, and Joe Collins, as well as many local and nearby favorites. And don't forget about the Texas State Hammered Dulcimer and Mountain Dulcimer Championships. Here are the contest rules.

As you may know, a large part of the festival is paid for by the proceeds of the raffle tickets. Well, have a look at one of the prizes that can be had from the raffle. This is a 90x90 Lone Star Festival Quilt which has been created by Pat Harkins and Sharon Boucher for the 2016 Lone Star State Dulcimer Festival at Glen Rose, TX, commemorating our 35th anniversary. Raffle tickets for the quilt will be available at the festival.

This is a free festival, but do bring money to pay for camping and buy food, T-shirts, and raffle tickets.
