This year Celebrate the Arts! and the tenth anniversary of the Festival of the Arts in
Corpus Christi,Texas.

The Festival of the Arts, is hosted annually the last weekend in March except when it falls on Easter weekend. The event offers a weekend of national and local artists featuring their one of a kind art for sale,non stop music and dance entertainment with cool gulf breezes and a beautiful waterfront view of the beautiful Corpus Christi Bay, the jewel of the South Texas coastline.

This free annual art event features its signature event with the creation of a unique 15ft x 15ft Italian Street Painting by returning internationally recognized guest artist, Julie Kirk-Purcell.

The Festival of the Arts offers independent shorts and full length film/cinema screenings,sand sculpting, tours of Corpus Christi's downtown and bayfront public art, lecture/demonstrations, and the ever popular art-full KidZone for those 12 years of age and under.
