| Entertainment | The evening of June 9th, we will have a kick-off for the Cisco TX Pie Fest with a Chicken Pot Pie Dinner in downtown Cisco followed by a street dance. It will be a great time to get in the mood for the festival and do a little dancin'. On June 10th, events include Pie Baking Contests (youth and adult divisions) with celebrity judges, Pie Eating Contests (youth and adult divisions), Pie-verbial Poetry Contest, Juried Pie-themed Quilt Show, Pie Auctions, and a Celebrity Chef Pie-Making Demonstration. We'll have local musicians performing during the day and lots more entertainment. To top off the day with a bang, we're working on a wonderful concert event for the evening. | ||
| Activities | On June 10th, we'll start the Cisco TX Pie Fest off with a morning Run-Your-Pie-Off 5K and 10K races to celebrate the beauty of our town and the Cross Timbers Area. Opportunities for family games will abound with Cow Pie Bingo, Pie Relay Races, Celebrity Pie Toss, and Pie Ring Toss. We'll have Face Painting, Pony Rides, a Petting Zoo, Bounce House and maybe a Climbing Wall. As you would think, food will be an important part of our celebration. We will have an All-You-Can-Eat Pie Buffet that will offer all kinds of pie all day for a very reasonable price. There will also be an all-day Food Court with vendors offering their specialty fare and at least one item to do with pie. Diners will also be voting on best "Pie" item offered in the Food Court. Wonderful Arts and Craft Vendors will fill our downtown streets, offering lots of things to see and purchase. They will be decorating their booths with a "Pie" theme, and will be competing for "Best Booth". Downtown businesses will be offering great and unique shopping opportunities. And they might also be offering prizes for shoppers. | ||
