Held the last Saturday of September at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Kolache Fest has something for everyone! From the Eating Contests to the arts and crafts booths to the classic car show featuring cars from all over the area.

Perhaps the highlight of the day for children young and old is the Kolache Fest Parade through Hallettsvilles Downtown Square. Other activities for the children include games and activity booths. Of course, it wouldnt be a Czech festival without polka music. Throughout the day polka bands are on hand to entertain guests and delight visitors.

The night is finished off with the Kolache Fest dance featuring bands that are local and regional favorites. If youre looking for an opportunity to discover what Texas heritage is all about, come to Kolache Fest and learn the wonderful Czech philosophy.
